The Daily Lives is an American adult animated web comedy series created by Donner Damn. The series is a sequel to Daily life after its cancellation. It often uses surreal humor. It was originally scheduled to air on May 25, 2012; however, due to being a midseason replacement, the series was delayed for four months and was scheduled to air its second pilot by September 28, 2012. Every episode is directed and written by Damn himself.

The Daily Lives is also sometimes considered a sketch series, but since the characters' backgrounds are mostly the same, it is considered a comedy series.[nb 1]

HistoryEdit

The Daily Lives was served as a midseason replacment for Daily life after its cancellation in February 2012. It borrows elements from Daily life and uses the same cast.

Schedule delayEdit

FormatEdit

Like its counterpart Daily life, The Daily Lives uses surreal humor in its storylines. However, since the cancellation of Daily life, Damn has become increasingly concerned about the limited humor that is used; since then, The Daily Lives had started using cutaway gags in its episodes.

FootnotesEdit

  1. Like its precessor Daily life, there have been many disputes on whether or not The Daily Lives is a sketch show and not a comedy series. The first season's characters' occupations and roles are mostly inconsistent (which can be considered a sketch show); however, it was revealed on February 1, 2013 (the day The Daily Lives was renewed for a second season) that the second season would focus on the same groups of people (which can be considered a comedy show).
